About Learn It
Learning the things life forgot to teach.
Learn It was created from one simple belief:
Everyone deserves to understand the skills that quietly shape their everyday life.
Taxes. Credit. Budgeting. Renting your first apartment. Insurance. Saving. Investing. These are the decisions that can change someone's future, yet so many of us leave school without ever learning how they work.
Like countless others, I found myself asking questions that no class had answered. Instead of wishing someone had built a place to learn these things, I decided to create it myself.
What started as a school project quickly became something much bigger.
When I shared the idea with my teacher, she told me she believed it could become something real—something that could genuinely help people. That encouragement planted a seed that stayed with me.
Not long after, life changed.
I began working full-time, and I lost my grandmother, someone who always believed in me and encouraged me to keep creating. For a while, Learn It had to wait while I focused on grieving and adjusting to a new chapter of life.
But the mission never left.
I came back because I realized this wasn't just a class project anymore.
It was a solution to a problem I had experienced myself.
Today, Learn It exists to make life's most important topics feel less intimidating and more approachable. Whether you're learning how taxes work for the first time, trying to understand credit, building your first budget, or planning for bigger financial goals, you deserve a place where learning feels welcoming—not overwhelming.
This platform isn't built to make anyone feel behind.
It's built to remind you that everyone starts somewhere.
